The latest TFE competition is: to create in 28mm (or Epic or BFG) one of the characters/units/ships from an image in Visions of Heresy/Collected Visions.
I want to see the artwork come alive, ready for the tabletop!
This is therefore not for dioramas - it's to create a unit that you can field in battle! This means that the minis should be on their appropriate bases, rather than on a display base. Units that do not have rules (yet), for example Sisters of Silence, are perfectly ok, as long as they're on suitable bases.
Given that there are quite a lot of images that would be impossible to match exactly (due to the armour being highly ornate, etc) the aim is to take inspiration from the fantastic artwork - ie: theme. The prizes are for the people who have been the most inspired!!! Categories:

Most inspired OVERALL WINNER!
You can't win more than one category, and the prizes will be various BL HH posters (the A3 book cover ones), except for the overall winner, who will get to choose a mini from the FW Horus Heresy Character Series!
The deadline is the last day of September 2014.
